In this project, I will bring together photoactive metal-organic frameworks with operando ATR spectroscopy to study the photoconversion of CO2 into value-added chemicals such as formic acid, methanol or methane. I will focus on the elucidation of the reaction mechanism and obtaining insights into the active sites in the porous material.
