Synthesis and Design of MOFs and Zeolites via In Situ Adsorption Study
The adsorption and separation of some gases is of great importance for energy utilization and chemical industry. My research focuses on designing and developing materials for gas adsorption and separation based on in situ adsorption study, spectroscopic and microscopic tools. Materials, including metal-organic frameworks and zeolites, are mainly studied. The study of porous adsorbents under realistic condition will provide us new insights into the adsorption mechanism, adsorption sites of the adsorption processes, which will be instructive for the design and development of highly efficient adsorbents.
