An interview with Pieter Bruijnincx appeared in DUB, the digital magazine of Utrecht University. In the article, entitled ‘Bellenblaasontdekking Utrechtse onderzoekers maakt petrochemische industrie groener’, Pieter Bruijnincx explains the research which has led to a new patented catalyst to obtain hydrogen from glycerol. As glycerol is abundantly available, this new method can be a green alternative for obtaining from natural gas.
