PhD student Dimitrije Cicmil of the Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis group won the VIRAN award for the best poster presented during the 16th Netherlands Catalysis and Chemistry Conference (NCCC) in Noordwijkerhout, with his poster entitled “The Influence of Titanium inside the Phillips Polymerisation Catalyst on the Selective Oligomerisation of Ethylene”. The poster award consists of a plaque and € 500.
His work is supervised by prof. dr. ir. Bert M. Weckhuysen, in collaboration with industrial partners Total Research and Technology Feluy.
