Recently, both Dr. Gareth Whiting and Dr. Jovana Zecevic are awarded a personal Veni grant by NWO. Jovana received the grant for her research entitled ´ Real-time studies at the nanoscale of the liquid-phase synthesis of zeolite-based catalysts´, Gareth for his research ‘Taking a shine to industrial catalysts’.
The research grant allows them to finance their own research work for the upcoming three years.
Veni grant
The Veni grant is part of NWO’s Innovational Research Incentive Scheme and is specifically for talented scientists who recently obtained their PhD. With the Veni grant, researchers receive up to 250.000 Euros to finance their own research for three years.
