Prof. Krijn de Jong and Dr. Jovana Zecevic presented the proposal for a new centre for electron microscopy next to the David de Wied building at Utrecht Science Park ‘de Uithof’. Out of fifteen presented proposals, their proposal was honored with an investment of three million euro’s.
The investment is made possible from a new (Utrecht)University fund for research facilities. The collegeboard invests in research groups that require extention or strengthening in their research facilities.
This investment will contribute to a new electron microscopy facility that will make a difference in our research area.
