The Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis group collaborates with the Organic Chemistry and Catalysis group (Bruijnincx and Klein Gebbink teams) in the local Catalysis Centre Utrecht (CCU) and in the Institute for Sustainable and Circular Chemistry (ISCC). At national level our group participates in the Netherlands Institute for Catalysis Research (NIOK) as well as in the Multiscale Catalytic Energy Conversion (MCEC) program and the Advanced Research Center Chemical Building Block Consortium (ARC CBBC). At international level we are members in several networks across the globe, including Europe, the USA, and China. Examples include the SUNERGY program, and the Joint Research Center (JRC), where we work together with the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST, Shanghai, China).
The Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis group collaborates further – without being complete – with Costa Figueiredo/Hensen (Eindhoven University of Technology), Koper (Leiden University), De Proft (Free University Brussels), Hofkens/Roeffaers/De Vos (Leuven University), Olsbye (University of Oslo) and Norskov (DTU).
The group currently carries out or has carried out industrial research projects done by either PhD, postdoctoral students or technical staff sponsored by Shell, Albemarle, Dow Chemical, BASF, Total, Croda, ExxonMobil, Michelin, BP, Toyota, DAF Trucks, DSM, Tata Steel, Umicore, AkzoNobel, Nouryon, and Clariant.
